COIdo is a service that works on behalf of venue owners and managers to collect Certificates of Insurance (COIs) from vendors working at the venues.
Our goal is to collect all your vendor COIs in an organized and timely manner while also making sure they include the proper information needed for your venue.
COIdo takes on the hard work to help venue owners like you save time and avoid the frustration that typically comes with gathering vendor COIs.

Have you ever considered how many hours you spend collecting COIs for each event you host? Between the caterer, coordinator, DJ, bakery, florist, photographer, videographer, hair and makeup artists, transportation, and more, you probably spend hours on every event!
Sometimes the COIs come in correctly, but you and I both know that they are also often too generic or have incomplete information. Which means you spend even more time trying to track down a correct COI. And don’t get us started on those vendors who are combative or just unresponsive, right?
That’s where we come in! We can help you save time and avoid frustration. If you think your time is worth more than $1.67 a COI, then even our basic plan could feel like a huge relief!
(And we’re pretty sure you’re spending more than $1.67 of your time on that COI too!)

Pricing is based on the number of events you host per year. Options include:
Free Trial for one sample event
Basic package for new or low-volume venues
Essentials package for venues with steady bookings
Unlimited package for high-volume or year-round venues
Full details are on our Pricing page.

All our plans are billed annually because we know that there are months of planning that lead up to every wedding and your vendor COIs take many weeks to gather properly and completely. We reach out to vendors over a series of weeks, giving them ample notice and time to submit their COIs.
If we were to only work on a month-to-month basis, all our work would be lost and have to be repeated unnecessarily if your account were to expire before a given wedding date.
Plus, COIs of repeat vendors carry over to future weddings and you’ll want to have those documents on file for more than a month at a time to cover any wedding dates still to come.

We can write paragraphs on why you should require COIs from every vendor working at your venue, but we’ll save that for another day.
Let’s assume that you know the importance of having vendor COIs but you just haven’t had the time to chase after them. Not a problem, and that’s exactly why you need COIdo!
We know getting started is the hardest part. And you might not know what you need to be asking for. Or maybe you don’t want to make it seem like you’re being difficult. Pass the task on to us and let COIdo handle getting all the vendor COIs for you.
You can enjoy the benefit of knowing you’re set without having to do any of the hard work!

Our practice is to have COIs due and collected 60 days before an event. This allows a buffer time in case vendors don’t respond, need to make revisions, or have issues with getting their COI. Our hope is that you’ll have all your COIs in order no later than 30 days before an event so that you are not scrambling to collect anything in the final days and weeks.

You can cancel any plan at any time and receive no additional billing. Your access to COIdo will remain until the end of your subscription term. Once your subscription ends, you will lose access to all the COIs you have on file.
